Semuanya bermula thn 2014 bila member Semesti 7th batch aka Naga racun lari event. Baguih deme kata. Aku pun beli ler kasut lari Adidas Duramo 6. Try ler lari skit pusing taman. Aku ingat senang je tapi tak smp 500m udah haup tak larat. Aku pun usha2 ler internet pasei lari ni. Ghopernyer ada step dia, bkn hentam kromo je. Pastu pelan2 ler trenin ikut step tu sblm register first event, Alpha Run.

1 Nov 2014 - Alpha Run 12km first run event aku dgn geng2 Naga; Bad, Duan, Amin, Joned, K, Q. Deme sume udah ke depan tinggal aku dgn G. Dapat abih 12km dlm masa 1 jam 45 min. Jadik ler.

Next deme racun buat half marathon pulak. Kat Sabah. Ok gak pasei aku pun tak pernah pi Sabah. Tapi 21km tu, blh ke aku lari jauh tu? Bedei register bln 1 pasei nk early bird rate, event bln 5. Semasa prepare utk HM tu aku start join Astirunners, geng lari budak Semesti. Baguih deme ni. Byk tips dan advices deme bagi utk newbies mcm aku.

3 May 2015 - Borneo International Marathon first HM aku. Habis lari 3 jam 15 minit. Jadik ler. Giler first time smp Sabah teruih pi lari HM. Big thanks to Awang dan Sheikh for kind hospitality kat KK.

FMV. Itu ler term yg Astirunners dok racun utk ahli-ahlinya. Full Marathon Virgin. Haw3... Aku rasa mcm boleh tapi kena buat preparation betul2. Selepas buat 6 HMs, mula ler usha event FM yg sesuai. SCKLM2016 nampak ok pasei 2 minggu sblm tu ada Newton Challenge 30km. Blh treat sbg LSD pasei kalu nk buat sdiri mmg payah skit.

24 Jul 2016 - LSD at Newton Challenge 30km. Hujan menemani hampir separuh larian. Selepas 21km masih mampu meneruskan cabaran hingga ke garisan penamat dgn catatan 4 jam 45 minit. Jadik ler. Dapat tambah skit keyakinan utk buat FM next 2 weeks. Abih lari lapar giler nasib Sham Anas ada buat nasi kerabu. Tq geng. Bagi aku LSD 30km ni penting utk menyukat kemampuan kita nak abihkan FM nanti.

7 Aug 2016 - Hari yg ditunggu telah tiba. Full Marathon at SCKLM2016. Permulaan yg positif; tiba awal di starting line dgn Roy. Tapi lps start je teruih berdesup mamat tu. Hehe.. Aku plan nak ikut sifir 8 ajaran abam Putat tapi mampu follow utk 2 jam pertama je. Selebihnya bedei. Di km24 rasanya pacer 6.30 mula kelihatan, try follow pelan2 dgn Shidan dan Mazreen sehingga deme hilang selepas km30. Rasa lega bila dapat band kt km31 dlm masa lbh krg 5 jam. Menepuk bahu abam Aca, jgn dia ingat mamat feeder bus yg tepuk sudahlah. Hehe..

Tiba di Bukit Tunku maintain relax sehingga dikejutkan oleh kehadiran pacer7. Adeh biar betul awalnya dia smp. Ada lg lbh krg 4km nak abih tu. Riso pulak disqualified. Dah dekat dah ni. Try follow pelan2. Tiba2 lagi 500m nak abih blh pulak brader pacer7 ni pecut. Udah menggelabah aku kejor tapi bila dah dkt finishing line nampak masa baru 6 jam 50 min, lega skit dan sekadar berlari2 anak ke garisan penamat. Bila dah abih, udah mcm menang World Cup ler deme kabo. Hehe..

 

 

Gitulah citernye road to FM aku. Moga yg baik dijadikan teladan, yg tak elok dijadikan sempadan. Tq all. Alhamdulillah...

Fantasy football playoff dah abih..

Season fantasy football NFL telah melabuhkan tirai baru2 ni.. Hasilnya tidak berapa memberangsangkan.. Team private league Perak Seladangs gagal melayakkan diri ke playoff setelah tumpas pada perlawanan penentuan.. Kali pertama gagal ke playoff sejak private league Liga Kampung ditubuhkan..

Tapi terubat sikit la rasa kecewa dengan team satu lagi di public league iaitu Hyunckel's Team.. Layak ke playoff namun hanya mampu bergelar naib juara..

Harap season depan lebih mantap lagi...

Koleksi piala fantasy football yang telah dimenangi setakat ini.. Hehe...

Allianz Run 2015, first event run dapat pace sub-6...

Untuk pelari yang tak seberapa mcm aku, nak dapat pace 6 min/km dlm jarak 5 km memang payah. Akhirnya kat Allianz Run 2015 pada 6 Dec lepas, dapat gak pace tu setelah mencuba sedaya upaya. Harap dapat maintain la lepas ni. Hehe...

2. Hyunckel's Team (public)

Dua2 team masih berpeluang mara ke playoff utk merebut kejuaraan, tapi berdepan misi mesti menang minggu ni... Sekarang dah Week 13, dua minggu lagi Week 15 dah start playoff utk public dan Week 16 start utk private.. Harap dua2 team dapat layak..

Utk real team aku sokong Green Bay Packers. Latest game diorg menang pada play yang terakhir iaitu balingan touchdown Hail Mary dari Aaron Rodgers kepada Richard Rodgers..

Astro start 2012 ni takde pun game NFL ni.. tak tau lau Super Bowl kali ni ada ke tak live kat astro.. Hypp TV (unifi) ada la kot...

Liga fantasi Perak Seladangs season ni pulak sekadar tempat ketiga.. takpe, tahun depan cuba lagi.. Untuk private league pulak (Liga Kampung) dah dua tahun berturut-turut dah lock out ni.. Budak-budak ex-Marquette ni dah sibuk dgn komitmen masing-masing gamaknya...

Universal Studios Japan (USJ)

Universal Studios Japan, fondly known as USJ, is a theme park mostly based on Hollywood movies. Officially opened in 2001 and located in Osaka, conveniently accessible by JR train.

In Summer 2011, I was fortunate to visit USJ. One important tip though, if you want to fully utilize your visit here, you should avoid visiting during weekends or public holidays. USJ would be very crowded during that time. Lucky for me, I was able to visit USJ on weekday (Thursday). The basic entrance fee for one day pass was 6200 yen.

Based on my friend advice, I started my USJ visit with The Spiderman Ride. In his opinion, it is the best attraction there. I could not agree more. I ended up entering the ride twice.

Next up was 4-D Shrek. You’ll be seated as in cinema, but with 3-D spec and feel that you are a part of the movie (I think the length is about 20 minutes). For example, when Donkey sneezes, you can feel it on your face. When Shrek riding the horse, the seat starts moving as well, simulating the horse ride. Even in Japanese, you could enjoy the show. I believe Norika Fujiwara is Princess Fiona in this movie instead of Cameron Diaz. Actually, there is a 4-D experience in Genting Highlands, not Shrek though. But, it was fun as well…

One of the latest ride in USJ is Space Fantasy, replaced the ET ride previously. Space Fantasy is an indoor roller coaster, very suitable for me, not too frightening.

I had visited Universal Studios Hollywood back in 1998 when I was studying in the US. IMHO, the best ride there was Back to the Future. I ended up entering that ride twice. In USJ, it felt like a deja vu. Once again, here in USJ, after more than 10 years, I ended up entering that ride twice.

Two rides that I missed at Hollywood were Terminator and JAWS due to overcrowded (visited during festive seasons: Christmas and New Year). In USJ, I didn’t miss the chance to try both of them. It was a satisfying moment for me.

Two items that I entered once in both USJ and Hollywood were Backdraft and Jurassic Park. About the same (been there, done that).

I was not interested to enter Waterworld show, since already experienced that in Hollywood; and passed Hollywood Dream, an outdoor rollercoaster, looked scary for me.

There are two rides made specifically for kids; Snoopy Studios and Peppermint Patty’s Stunt Slide.



The last show before get back to hotel was Animation Celebration, on how basic animation is made.

All in all, my USJ visit is one of the most satisfying experiences for me, mostly because of the high utilization of the attractions. 6200 yen well spent…
